I am a college student, but I don’t have a car to get to a job, nor do I qualify for on campus employment. But, I need some extra cash. I have looked up online paid survey sites, but I don’t know which ones are legitimate? ANY HELP?
Cashcrate is another place that’s legit. I did this for a while and the money isn’t great, but it’s ok. One thing to be careful about is filling in your info. You have to give a realistic sounding name, birthday, address, etc. or they won’t pay you, but of course you shouldn’t give out your real info.
The link below has some tips about how to fill them out so that you sound legit, but still keep your sensitive info safe. Good luck, but personally, I think you will make more money working at a fast food joint near campus, but if you want to work from home, surveys aren’t too bad.
I was currently on "Global Test Market" which is a website that you get paid for completing surveys. I was not happy with the website as for a was not receiving enough surveys I could complete. Are there any other paid survey websites that are actually good and you actually get paid?
surveyhead is the only one that i use.
there are governmental ones like Yougov (works for UK not sure if there are any for diffrent countrys)
surveyhead is good, but extremly frustrating, you will find that your mid survey and then it closes because you dont qualify.
in 2 years on it, i’ve made about £20, it’s okay if you got the time, but to qualify for the surveys it’s quite hard.
I want a site that is VERY simple not one that makes me go to a bunch of different other things for surveys or to sign up on other sites im not looking to get rich just get extra money i see people doing it so why not do it myself? does anyone know one that they have tried that has worked very well for them
The rule, as always, is to stay away from those that ask you to pay before you can get these surveys.
Legitimate market survey companies such as Pinecone Research recruit members based on demographic characteristics — e.g. mothers of babies 0-12 years old — and will send surveys of products and services targeting this demographic group. Pinecone Research, however, pays only $5 per survey — you’re definitely not going to be rich with that. They can give you anywhere from 1-5 at most surveys in a month.
Other companies simply ask you to answer as many research as possible, and you don’t earn anything just the chance to win at a raffle (which I find lame).
